When you call, ask:
- Are you taking new patients right now?
- Do you accept my insurance, Medicaid, or a sliding fee scale?
- Is there a waitlist — and how long?
- What should I bring to the first appointment?
- Do you offer telehealth if I can't get there?
Five minutes on the phone can save a wasted trip.
