Data & attribution

Facility data is sourced from the SAMHSA Behavioral Health Treatment Services Locator, built from the National Substance Use and Mental Health Services Survey (N-SUMHSS).

The data is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0 — see opendatacommons.org for the full license. We credit SAMHSA as the source and impose no additional restrictions.

Health-center identity data (FQHC status, hours) comes from HRSA’s public Health Center Program data (data.hrsa.gov, public domain).

Freshness

We re-import the national dataset regularly; every facility page shows when its record was last verified against SAMHSA’s data. Facilities change hours, capacity, and offerings faster than any dataset updates — always call before going.

Typeface

This site is set in Inter by Rasmus Andersson, used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and served from our own domain (no font CDN, no third-party requests).
